Patricio Systems LLC Articles of Organization were filed on April 4, 2011. John Patricio, a Service Connected Disabled American Veteran, is the majority shareholder and president of the company. Today, Patricio is responsible for the strategic direction as well as day-to-day operation of the company.

Founder Profile

Founder and president, Sgt. John Patricio, USMC (Ret) participated in the liberation of Kuwait as an infantry squad leader in Operation Desert Storm 1991. Patricio departed from the infantry and arrived at the 29 Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) training facility where he ascertained the Marine Corps approach to Information Technology disciplines in 1992.

After retiring from the Marine Corps, Patricio started working for Electronic Data System (EDS) in 1995 as a help desk technician. He applied his military training and leadership experience to assist in his growth and was promoted to Systems Administrator in 1997. Patricio moved in the application development path and graduated from the EDS Software Engineering Development (SED) program in 1999. As an application developer, he obtained many awards including the Bristol Meyers Squibb Presidential award in 2001 for an application called the Profitability Decision Support Tool.

In 2003, Patricio started working as a project manager upgrading the various infrastructures of multiple counties with the State of California. After successful implementation of these projects, Patricio worked on the EDS state and local government Programme Management Office (PgO) as a Program Manager. This is where he learned to implement Project Management best practices within government agencies.

He continued to further his education and growth and obtained both an MBA and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2006. In June 2006, Patricio was appointed as Director of Information Technology for the Project Management Institute – Sacramento Valley Chapter (PMI-SVC) where he sponsored the chapters successful web redesign initiative.

Patricio gained a unique skill in taking project management best practices from the private sector and appropriately applying them in the public sector. Leveraging his Marine Corps leadership experience as well as his technical experience in systems administration and application development Patricio has become a successful Project Manager. His unique experience in state and local government agencies provides him with the skills needed to successfully implement and execute Project Management best practices within government agencies. In 2011 Patricio decided to go into business for himself and established Patricio Systems LLC.
